Mumbaikar is a transit map app by Locals of Mumbai. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data is collected, how it is used, and your rights.
Information We Collect
We do not collect any personally identifiable information. Specifically:
- No name, email, phone number or personal identifiers
- No location data or GPS tracking
- No camera or microphone access
- No contacts or files access
- No account or login required
- No user-generated content
Automatically Collected Information
Standard web server logs may record your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, and pages visited. This is standard practice for any website. This data is used only for diagnosing technical issues and is never used for advertising, profiling, or shared with third parties.
Third-Party Services

We do not use any analytics, advertising networks, or tracking SDKs.
Data Storage and Security
We do not store any personal data on our servers. The app stores only cached app files on your device for offline use (via service worker). These files contain no personal information and can be cleared by clearing your browser or app cache.

We do not sell, trade, rent, or share any user data with third parties for any purpose.
Children's Privacy
Mumbaikar does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The app is suitable for all ages and requires no personal information to use. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us immediately.
